Into the New Zealand milk source, the original life sunshine comes from such a beautiful place!
Unbeknownst to us, SUNLIFE is almost 20 years old and has always insisted on natural nutrition from New Zealand, and has entered into a strategic partnership with local milk supplier Westland (Westland Dairy).
As the 20th anniversary is approaching, we would like to travel to New Zealand with you to enjoy the birth of natural nutrition.
Pure milk comes from superior natural environment
New Zealand's ecological environment is very favorable, with little difference in temperature between the four seasons, very lush plant growth, and natural pastures or farms accounting for an average of the country's area, which is a veritable green kingdom.
The milk source of SUNLIFE comes from the South Island, where pasture and water resources are even more abundant, including natural glacier meltwater, rivers and lakes.
Natural and unpolluted pasture and water is the source of food for New Zealand cows, which is why New Zealanders insist on 24-hour natural rotational grazing, as they can give their cows a healthier lifestyle.
A long history of dairy products
New Zealand's unique natural environment has made its agricultural products, especially dairy products, renowned for their high quality.
With the development of agriculture, large-scale modernization is a common development trend, and many countries with advanced animal husbandry are gradually adopting large-scale dairy farming to improve productivity and total production.
However, if we look at the long history of dairy products in New Zealand, we will find that they have always insisted on rotational farming, so that the cows can grow freely and healthily in the vast grassland with abundant dietary resources.
Precisely because of the understanding of dairy products, New Zealanders prefer to give up the pursuit of higher production, just to better retain the natural nutrition in milk.
SUNLIFE, also because of its understanding of colostrum, chooses New Zealand's milk sources, which have higher nutritional value and cost value, just to insist on better nutrition.
Where New Zealand Milk Begins
A glass of fresh milk and a sachet of colostrum for breakfast is the daily routine of a farmer on New Zealand's South Island.
He cares for a selection of genetically superior cows on his vast farm, and regularly checks the health of his numbered and filed cows to make sure they are healthy.
Only when the milk is collected will the cows be herded to a uniform location to be worked by machines and transported to the factory for re-processing through a professional cold chain.
Through this model of cooperation with Whistler Dairy, New Zealand farmers will preserve the original animal husbandry and bring better quality milk.
New Zealand Quality, Strict Control
SUNLIFE chose New Zealand, chose the South Island, chose a better source of milk, certainly want to better retain the natural nutrition in the quality milk source.
Therefore, we have created our own self-inspection program for product quality control.(QC1)。
Taking colostrum as an example, we only use milk secreted by cows within 72 hours after calving, and store it in a special freezing device immediately after collection, and then spray-dry it at low temperature during the whole process of cold-chain transportation, so as to ensure that a variety of nutrients will not be destroyed by high temperature.
From the source of colostrum milk to the finished product, it has to go through multiple quality tests to ensure that it is safe to consume and the nutrients are up to standard.
In addition to the self-inspection program, the New Zealand government is also very strict on the quality of agricultural products. The Risk Management Program (RMP) for food production closely monitors every procedure from milk source, processing, warehousing until the product is exported to create New Zealand quality.
