SUNLIFE helps “Mother and Child Life Vehicle in Poor Mountainous Areas” Public Welfare Project

Is the Fourth of July vacation a snail's pace at home? Or highway wandering? New Zealand SUNLIFE delivered a meaningful answer.

During the National Day, SUNLIFE headquarter staff launched a seven-day PK race for donating steps for public welfare: using nutrition to promote family health, and using actions to transmit the light of public welfare, this PK race made the staff from all over the world unite together again.

SUNLIFE headquarter employees were divided into two groups to carry out PK, led by the company's two senior executives, and each group determined their own team names and slogans, and the “Smiling Proud Wanderer” team and the “World Walking” team were thus born!

In order to complete the daily walking task, during the National Day, the staff did their own way, each showing their skills: climbing, walking children, walking the dog, abandoning the car to walk and so on, have become a daily mandatory program. During the competition, the total number of walks of the two teams was comparable, and after a heated competition, the team “Walking the World” stood out at the last moment and won the victory of the PK match. All the money raised from the walk was donated to the “Maternal and Child Life Vehicle” program.

When the employees came back from the National Day holiday, they were all refreshed and enthusiastic to re-enter the work. The company organizes this kind of activity, which is highly recognized by the staff: helping the public welfare, exercising and interacting with parents and children are perfectly combined together during the 7-day National Day holiday.
